Behind every successful business is a story of persistence, partnership and purpose.

Sheree came to the DRB Group over 15 years ago, facing the early challenges of a growing business, including rising expenses, increasing tax obligations and the constant pressure to keep moving forward. Like many business owners, she had clear goals but needed assistance to achieve them. Sheree didn't need a quick fix; she needed a steady partner to assist her through the ups and downs of running a small business.

Our engagement with Sheree first focused on the structure of the business and ensuring suitable accounting systems and processes. We conducted a series of meetings every year where we focussed on discussing business performance, major issues facing the business, opportunities for growth and taxation planning. These meetings are still being held 15 years later.

We then turned our attention to ensuring that Sheree’s personal goals were being achieved. Engaging with our Financial Advice team, we established appropriate personal insurances for Sheree in order to protect her and her family should something happen. We then set about establishing a Self-Managed Superannuation Fund and continue to manage some of Sheree’s superannuation and personal investment assets.

Sheree and DRB have worked side by side through periods of growth, various business challenges and the unexpected curveballs life throws our way. Over this time, Sheree’s personal and business goals have also changed. But recognising and adapting to these changes is key to supporting any long-term client.

Today, Sheree leads a thriving business and enjoys the life she has built with her family. And of course, we look forward to being part of the next 15 years of Sheree’s journey.
